Agri Malaysia 2017 was an international exhibition organized by Expoglobe and One International Exhibition held on 22-24 September 2017 at the Setia City Convention Center, Shah Alam, Malaysia. It is supported by the International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet), the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry (MOA) and its agencies, and the private sector.
The exhibition aimed to showcase exclusive products and technologies for local and international markets. It will bring industry stakeholders for the purpose of business expansion and knowledge enhancement and networking.
Exhibit profiles included Agriculture Technology such as:
- agricultural biotechnology & science;
- agricultural construction;
- agricultural machinery, equipment, tools, accessories;
- agricultural technology & engineering;
- fertilizers, chemical products, pest control;
- crops and weeds;
- energy-savings, waste recycling & utilization;
- GPS, remote sensing;
- horticulture technology ;
- organic farming;
- soil & land;
- sowing, planting, and cultivation & harvesting; and
- thresh, sorting, and packing.
TFNet CEO Dr. Desa Hassim gave a talk on “Tropical Fruits in the Global Market,” attended by about 30 members of the public.
