A delegation from Putra Business School (PBS), led by its President and CEO, Prof. Dr. Azmawani Abd. Rahman, paid a courtesy visit to TFNet CEO Mr. Muhamed Salim bin Mohd Ali to explore areas of collaboration. She was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ida Md Yasin (Society Engagement, Alumni & Endowment) and Mdm. Siti Badarny Hassan (Marketing & Corporate Communications).
During the meeting, TFNet provided an overview of its mandate and programmes, followed by discussions on potential collaboration, including:
•Case‑study research – Leveraging PBS postgraduate students and faculty to document high‑performing tropical fruit value chains and business models for TFNet’s knowledge hub.
•UPM Agriculture partnership – Strengthening ties with Universiti Putra Malaysia’s Faculty of Agriculture to integrate agritech expertise with business insights for sustainable fruit production and trade.
Both organizations expressed optimism about translating these ideas into targeted initiatives and student engagement activities for mutual benefit.
