KUALA LUMPUR – Shumaila Jabbar, representative of Jugno Foods, Pakistan and PhD scholar at Putra Business School, recently met with Mr. Muhamed Salim bin Mohd Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet).

The meeting focused on strategies to introduce Jugno Foods’ juice products into the Malaysian market. Mr. Salim emphasized the importance of structured market entry planning, starting with participation in regional food exhibitions such as the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) in September. Such platforms, he noted, offer valuable opportunities to assess consumer preferences and emerging market trends.

The discussion also highlighted the need to understand Malaysia’s regulatory requirements for food imports. TFNet expressed its support by offering to share relevant leads and networks to assist Ms. Shumaila in further exploring market opportunities.
