The International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet) was invited to participate in a meeting with IFEMA Madrid, Qube Integrated Malaysia, and the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) to discuss a proposal for organizing an international fruit trade exhibition in Malaysia.
The proposed exposition would serve as the Asian arm of Fruit Attraction, a leading international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable sector organized by IFEMA. Held annually in Madrid, Fruit Attraction attracts more than 115,000 trade visitors and over 2,200 exhibitors from 145 countries.
Hosting a similar event in Malaysia is expected to draw global exhibitors, buyers, and industry experts, fostering valuable business connections and driving innovation across the region.
If the joint initiative materializes, TFNet could contribute by organizing forums and side events, highlighting tropical fruit expertise from its member countries.
