The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet), Mr. Muhamed Salim bin Mohd Ali, held a discussion with Ms. Zuriana Ibrahim, the Economic Official attached to the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to ASEAN at the Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta, Indonesia. Also present was the Deputy Permanent Representative, Mr. Syed Edwan Syed Arif.
During the meeting, TFNet was formally introduced to the Permanent Mission, and both parties agreed to collaborate and support each other on matters related to trade and industry cooperation between Malaysia and Indonesia, particularly in the tropical fruits sector.
TFNet also welcomed MITI Malaysia’s participation, through its network of Member Countries, in contributing knowledge and providing guidance to traders via TFNet’s inaugural webinar series. The series will focus on trade facilitation, market access, and business opportunities, with special emphasis on the tropical fruits industry.
