The CEO of TFNet, Mr Muhamed Salim Mohd Ali, had the opportunity to pay a courtesy call to the Director General’s Office of Horticulture, Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia, at the Ministry’s office in Jakarta. He was received by Mr Hotman Fajar Simanjuntak, Director of Horticultural Product Processing and Marketing, and his team.
Both sides exchanged views on ongoing collaborations and explored future possibilities for jointly organised programmes. As an important member country of TFNet, Indonesia remains a key partner, and TFNet will continue to strengthen engagement, including through increased activities at the ministerial level, to support Indonesia in addressing both bilateral and regional issues related to the tropical fruit industry and its development.
