Mr Muhamed Salim Mohd Ali, CEO of TFNet, received a courtesy call from Dr Feng Zhang, Regional Director, East & South-East Asia, CABI, and Ms Chin Sing Yun, Country Director, CABI Malaysia.
Both parties discussed ongoing plans and activities, including updates on the progress of the jointly organised Biopesticides Workshop for the Middle East region.
CABI also proposed exploring collaboration on regional issues related to tropical fruits, particularly in addressing sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) measures and export requirement issues. Both sides agreed to continue discussions and work closely on potential consultancy opportunities.
