TFNet organized a study visit on “Technology Acquisition on Agricultural Machinery and Postharvest Technology in Thailand” on 31 Jan – 4 Feb 2017.
The study visit was organised upon request by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), Malaysia for 14 officers from the Department of Agriculture (DOA) of Malaysia on ‘Technology Acquisition on Agriculture Machinery and Postharvest Technology in Thailand”. The activity is a form of support to the capacity building initiatives of the Malaysian government, by linking with TFNet partner agencies in member countries. TFNet assisted in developing the programme for the study visit.
The participants visited the Kasetsart University, Khamphaengsan campus, National Agriculture Machinery Center (NAMC), Green House Project, Machinery factory: Agri Belt Tractor, Petchaboon & Solar farm (Electric power), Visit National Dairy Expo 2017 : World Machinery, Kaset Fair, and several model farms.
