International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet) Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Muhamed Salim bin Mohd Ali, paid a courtesy call on the Director General of the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), Mr. Abdul Rashid bin Bahri on 20 August.
During the meeting, both leaders expressed their commitment to strengthening collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including facilitating trade, sharing information, and undertaking joint research initiatives.
Mr. Abdul Rashid shared an overview of FAMA’s operations and its current strategic direction, while also expressing his appreciation for efforts to revitalize the long-standing relationship between the two organizations.
Mr. Salim, in turn, provided an update on TFNet’s ongoing initiatives and extended an invitation for FAMA to participate in the upcoming International Symposium on Tropical Fruits (ISTF) 2025, which will be held in Darwin, Australia in a hybrid format.
