The International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet) today welcomed Datuk Seri Mohd. Sallehhuddin bin Hassan, former Chairperson of TFNet, and Mdm. Lynda Eunos on a courtesy visit to its headquarters.
The meeting centered on a proposal for TFNet to serve as a strategic partner in organizing a global tropical fruit exhibition in Malaysia. The proposed event would provide a premier international platform to showcase tropical fruits, strengthen market linkages, and highlight opportunities for innovation and investment across the tropical fruit value chain.
While discussions remain at a preliminary stage, both parties agreed to pursue further engagements in the coming days. Roles and responsibilities will be defined once the main event organizer finalizes the venue.
This initiative underscores TFNet’s commitment to forging strategic partnerships and expanding global opportunities for tropical fruit producers and industry stakeholders.
