The International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet), the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Plant Industry, Philippines (BPI), and the PhilFruits Association, Inc. (PFA) are jointly organizing the International Symposium on Tropical Fruits: Towards Sustainable Fruit Production and Global Food Security (ISTF2016) on 29 August-03 September 2016 in Davao City, Philippines.

 

The symposium aims to discuss different sustainable fruit production techniques that would help ensure global food security. The latest advances in research and development and policy making will also be discussed. Moreover, the symposium will provide the latest information to improve the knowledge of participants and stakeholders.

 

The highlights of the symposium include plenary sessions, technical papers, poster exhibits, and a field trip. We are cordially inviting researchers, growers, policy makers, traders, associations, institutions, and students to attend the symposium.
