The first Regional Conference on Tropical Fruits Pests and Diseases (TROPED 2018) will be held in Sabah, Malaysia on 25-27 September 2018, organized by the International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet) and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with the support of the Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry (MOA).

 

Bearing the theme “Achieving Sustainable Solutions for the Management of Tropical Fruits Pests and Diseases in the Asia Pacific Region,” TROPED 2018 aims for expert knowledge sharing and networking on the various topics related to pests and diseases (P&D) management of tropical fruits.

 

Renowned speakers from the Asia-Pacific region with expertise in the various aspects of P&D management will be invited to present their latest insights during the plenary sessions. In addition to this, experts and industry players are invited to be a part of this conference by presenting papers and posters during the technical sessions. Target participants are the industry players, researchers, innovators, and policy makers.

 

Interested presenters are welcome to submit abstracts on the following thematic areas:

      Yes the conference is open to small farmers. We are still organizing farm visits. We will provide more information once the details have been finalized.
