The 2019 International Symposium on Tropical Fruits (ISTF 2019) aims to assemble the latest developments in scientific research, technology, best practices, and product innovations on tropical fruits from around the globe.
We are inviting experts from the academe, research and development institutes, extension workers, government representatives, international organizations, NGOs, cooperatives, farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, and the private sector to take part in this prestigious event.

    Thematic Areas          
    The organizers welcome submissions of novel, critical and up to date research findings which have significant relevance to the global tropical fruits research and industry. The abstracts will be peer-reviewed by a Scientific Committee which consists of a group of experts in the field of tropical fruits and related aspects of interest. We welcome abstracts on the following thematic areas:    
  Theme 1: Challenges and Opportunities in Production and Marketing of Tropical Fruits
  Theme 3: Linking Farmers to Markets: Integration into the Global Supply and Value Chains
  Theme 5: Consumer Trends and Product Innovations in Tropical Fruits
  Theme 7: Sustainable Approaches for Production and Processing: Towards Product Certification
  Theme 2: Postharvest Innovations
  Theme 4: Agriculture 4.0 for Tropical Fruits: Applications, Lessons, Future
  Theme 6: Gender Mainstreaming in the Tropical Fruits Industry

Interested presenters can submit their abstracts for papers and posters to on or before 15 June 2019. Submission guidelines for abstracts and posters can be found here:

    Paper submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an e-ISBN and indexed in CAB Abstracts and Google Scholar.
