The Camarines Norte State College (CNSC), through the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension (VPRE) and the Queen Pineapple Research and Development Institute (QPRDI), in partnership with the International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet), the Philippine Fruit Association (PFA), and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and the Department of Agriculture β Region V is set to host the 2ππ π°ππππππππππππ πͺπππππππ ππ π·ππππππππ 2026 (π°πͺππ· 2026) on πΊππππππππ 8-10, 2026 at the πͺπ΅πΊπͺ π΄πππ πͺπππππ ππ π«πππ, πͺππππππππ π΅ππππ, π·ππππππππππ.
Carrying the theme, βPineapple Response to Innovative Farming Technologies, Resource Optimization, and Climate Challenges for Better Harvest and Global Profitability,β the international congress aims to gather researchers, scientists, industry leaders, farmers, policymakers, academicians, agricultural practitioners, and development partners from various countries to exchange knowledge, present research breakthroughs, and discuss emerging trends and innovations in the pineapple industry.
The three-day congress will serve as a platform for collaborative dialogue and interdisciplinary engagement focused on sustainable pineapple production, climate resilience, value chain enhancement, technological innovation, resource optimization, and global market competitiveness. Through plenary sessions, scientific presentations, research discussions, and networking activities, participants are expected to contribute meaningful insights and strategic recommendations that will support the advancement of the pineapple sector both locally and internationally.
