The CEO of TFNet, Mr Muhamed Salim bin Mohd Ali, paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Agriculture (DOA) Sabah, where he was received by the Acting Director, Mr Jackson R. Jalimi. Also present was Mr Donald Stephens, representing the Malaysian Society of Agricultural Development (MASDA).

During the visit, TFNet briefed DOA Sabah on its current and upcoming activities, including plans to co-organise an International Avocado Forum later this year in collaboration with MASDA. DOA Sabah was invited to participate as a strategic partner in the initiative.

TFNet also shared preliminary plans for the Sabah International Tropical Fruits Summit, which is proposed to be held in 2027, aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and promoting the tropical fruits sector.

Both parties expressed strong interest in deepening collaboration and agreed to work together to ensure the success of the proposed programmes. DOA Sabah also welcomed future opportunities for broader cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
